Before we get into the WOTW, I’d like to present to you all the best rack I found in searching for this week’s special lady. Ladies & gentlemen, Mr. Jack Nicholson.

I was quite surprised Martha didn’t happen introduce everyone to Ms. Federica Ridolfi, the girlfriend of Giuliano Giannichedda, some dude who now only occasionally plays football for Livorno (formerly of Juventus, Lazio and Udinese).

Federica followed the official “How To Be A WAG” self-help book and got started as a dancer on a TV show, which led to more TV shows, which eventually led to taking her clothes off in front of cameras. She’s now 31, despite looking much younger, and quite deserving of a prestigious spot here as the WOTW. And she has a mighty distinctive tattoo; you can figure out what it is if you stare at it long enough.

I happen to think that Italian women are the elite women in the entire world when it comes to aesthetic beauty. I also happen to be a brunette type of a guy but still, it’s not a bad argument. I think it’s Italians and Latinas that kind of get my blood pumping the most.

But for the record there are millions of women of Italian heritage. Hell I could add Aria Giovanni to this list. I could add any American chick that even has a hint of bada bing.

However, no. I’m talking real Italians who were born there, speak the languag,e and would certainly speak it to me in the sack.

This guy is just so different from today’s trendies; he still looks like he belongs to an era when tattoos went to the gutsy, the outlaws, the fringe dwellers, the rebels, the people living in the darker corners of society. Tattoos were tribal then and tattooing was an artform; people would put a lot of thought in the design of their body art – like the guy above. And I could imagine people’s tattoos had meaning for them and a lot of them might have been quite unique as well.

Quite different from today where tattoos have become a major fashion fad, with designs ripped off celebrity magazines (see links below) and chosen according to current tattoo design trends; even tongue tattoos are beginning to be considered by the mainstream. Given the fashion nature though of tattoos I wonder what people will do when their tattoo does not represent the latest trend anymore – not as easy to change as last year’s clothes …
